It's been a while since our last posting as not much shooting this winter. Last weekend while we delivered a couple wedding albums, we stopped at Garden In the Woods near Framingham and the gristmill in Sudbury. We've posted a couple here but you can see more at http://cmecu.zenfolio.com/p675605054

An interesting quote from a famous photographer addressing photoshop (version 0.0):

"Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships." ~Ansel Adams

We don't usually post non-photographic comments however, based on our exciting experience last night, we must share this with you. We went to a Rain concert at PPAC which is a tribute to the Beatles. We didn't know what to expect at first but were quickly impressed and taken by the performance. The performances were true and tight to the originals and the characterization and talent of the performers was professional and totally believeable. If you are a Beatles fan it's a must see. If you aren't so much,go anyway and you'll become one.

Some more oil paint rendering to a photo of pergatory chasm.
Is anybody out there? How about saying hi if you are.

Here is another image from our trip to Pergatory Chasam. I love how the roots hold on to the rock like a giants hand. This image has been artistically rendered which you can see if you look closely.

As always, we welcome your feedback and comments and always like to hear the experiences of others in their photographic journies.

Got up early and went down to Roger Williams park and shot as the sun came up. I wasn't disappointed. The sunrise was beautiful and the pond was iced over which added to the unusual reflections and environment.
Did you know that swans sleep in the water even when it freezes over? Talk about cold feet!
